Dr. Dia Basha
Dr. Dia Basha is a Doctor of Dental Surgery who graduated from University of the Pacific, San Francisco. Dr. Basha is part of the American Dental Association, CDA, and Contra Costa Dental Society.
Dr. Basha is known for his gentleness and fixing patients’ fear of the dentist. In the past few years, Dr. Basha has done volunteer dental work in Mexico and Vietnam. Dr. Basha has been a resident of Contra Costa County for 20 years.
When the doctor is not in the office, he enjoys going on walks, spending quality time with family, and traveling.
Maya Basha
Office Manager
Maya Basha is the manager at Smile Design and you usually find her at the front desk ready to greet with a smile. Maya is the go to for all your insurance, billing, and appointment questions. Maya’s main goal is establish a comfortable atmosphere so patients can feel prepared for their appointment.
In her free time, Maya enjoys traveling, cooking, going on walks, and spending quality time with her three children.
Shanelle
Dental Hygienist
Shanelle graduated with a bachelors in Dental Hygiene from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2022. She is motivated in ensuring the most quality care and experience for our patients. She hopes for patients to enjoy coming to visit the dentist and learn the importance of oral health.
On her free time, Shanelle enjoys traveling, watching movies, and caring for her houseplants.
Rosa Ochoa
Registered Dental Assistant
Rosa began her dental career over 10 years ago, she graduated from Heald college with her associates degree in applied science in dental assisting. She was born and raised in the bay area. She is fluent in English and Spanish. She joined our team in 2012. She is passionate about getting to know all of our patients and making sure they receive quality service and attention from our office. She enjoys comforting patients and watching them leave the office with a confident smile.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and cooking. Her goal is to one day become a registered dental hygienist.
Crystal Gomez
Crystal is a passionate RDA who enjoys spending quality time with kids and exploring the world of wine tasting.
Committed to making a positive impact by helping those in need.
I hate coming to the dentist but after i start coming to this place i feel better when i have appointment, maya is very nice and call before ur appointment to remind u and in case u wanna cancel she doesn't get upset at all, the dr is very calm and nice keep checking on you and he takes it easy and doesn't rush
